Kyrgyz State Medical Academy (KSMA) was established in the year 1939 and now is considered as one of the oldest medical universities of Kyrgyzstan. The initial batch of the university was comprised of 200 students. Presently, Kyrgyz State Medical Academy is believed to be the pioneer medical academy in comparison to all the medical universities present in Kyrgyzstan.
